BlueCrypt-SecMan® - The Central Security Management System

BlueCrypt is a high performance solution for authenticating your communication partner and encrypting this communication. BlueCrypt works all over the world and is compatible to all national and international ISDN standards.

The Challenge

The Product

SecMan® is the central SECurity MANagement system for DICA BlueCrypt applications. The SecMan® device contains a security deposit, a security processor and special modules for DICA’s security management. Equipped with a random generator for a secure key generation it is absolutely essential for managing every BlueCrypt network. SecMan® software offers a graphical user interface for management and diagnostic for all BlueCrypt devices including DICA 7800 and DICA 9000 series. A very restrictive access routine and the full encrypted communication to BlueCrypt devices completes the high security standard.

SecMan® supports DICA’s high secure multi-layered Key-Management. Three master keys, a device key which is representing each network device, a common key which is used mostly as corporate key and a conference key for managing closed user groups inside a company structure, will be used for calculating a session key for every single connection between BlueCrypt devices. DICA’s Key Management guarantees the highest available security.

All keys in a world wide network can be changed automatically via SecMan® in shortest times. Never a key is exchanged online between applications, ensuring that it cannot be compromised along the way. There is no higher security available then by SecMan®.
